Delete account and data
This page applies to the 4000Watt app (web, Windows, Android) provided by 4000Watt, owner Simon Teischler, Industriestraße 43, 53721 Siegburg, Germany. Last updated: 25 September 2026

How the account is deleted
In the app. Account → Delete account, then confirm with the password. Deletion takes effect immediately.
By email. A message from the registered address to support@4000watt.com with the subject “Konto löschen”. Deletion then takes place within 30 days. Installing the app is not required for this.
What is deleted
User account and profile (including body weight, FTP, maximum heart rate), all training sessions, power and heart rate data, recovery measurements, training plans, saved devices, imported Strava data, support requests, and settings. An existing Strava connection is disconnected in the process.
What is retained
- Invoicing-related data: 10 years (Section 147 of the German Fiscal Code, AO).
- Trial marker (non-reversible hash of the email address): 24 months from the start of the trial.
- Email dispatch log (recipient, subject, time, no content): until the end of the third calendar year after dispatch.
Active subscription
Deletion ends the subscription. Amounts already paid are not refunded.
